What does composite bonding do?

Composite bonding uses tooth-coloured resin to change the shape, colour, or proportion of your teeth. We apply the material directly to your tooth, shape it how it needs to be, and harden it with a special light.

It works well for:

Closing gaps between teeth
Fixing chips or cracks
Adjusting tooth length or shape
Covering discolouration
Evening things out

What the process is like?

Free Composite Bonding Consultation: You’ll sit down with Mandi, our treatment coordinator, or one of our clinicians. We’ll talk about what you want to change and why it matters to you. We’re listening for whether composite bonding can actually solve the thing that’s bothering you. If it can, we’ll explain how. If it can’t, we’ll tell you that too.
Minimal tooth prep: No drills, no pain & no injections.
Composite Bonding appointment: Get your smile makeover & results in just one appointment (takes 1 to 4 hours depending on how many teeth).

Getting here: We’re based in the heart of Sale, with Sale tram stop a short walk away. Easy to reach from Manchester city centre, Altrincham, Hale, Timperley, Stretford, and Urmston. We offer on-site parking and out-of- work hours appointments.

What happens during composite bonding treatment?

If composite bonding makes sense for you and you decide to go ahead, the appointment happens here at our Sale practice.

One session (usually 1 to 4 hours depending on how many teeth)

How much is composite bonding?

Composite bonding is priced per tooth because every situation is different, but prices start at £250 per tooth.

We’ll give you exact costs during your free composite bonding consultation once one of our experts have actually looked at your teeth.

0% finance payment options are available which again will be discussed in your composite bonding consultation.

How long will it last?

Typically 5 to 7 years if you look after it. Depends on your bite, lifestyle, and maintenance. It’s not as long term an option as veneers.

Will it stain?

Yes, over time. Coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking all cause staining. It’s less stain resistant than veneers.

Will it look natural?

When done properly, yes. We match the colour to your natural teeth and shape it to look like actual teeth, not fake ones. The goal is making you look like you, just better

I had an AirFlow cleaning with Rebecca and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nadia and Zahra were both amazing!I had previous composite edge bonding from elsewhere which wasn’t to a high standard and had multiple chips. Nadia removed the previous composite and redid my top 6 teeth. In May I decided to take action on my oral health and came here to have a consultation to see just what work I needed, knowing I’d need a fair amount so I scheduled an appointment online and was booked in with Hamza.From the beginning he’s been really helpful, kind and professional - knowing I was extremely nervous at the start he worked out a dental plan for me and talked me through it making sure I understood the issues and impact if I was to decide not to fix soon. I never felt pressured he always was clear about how I could schedule the treatment whenever I’m ready so always felt comfortable and armed with the information needed to make decisions on my treatment.It’s 7 months later and I’ve had 3 sessions of work with 2 more to go, I can honestly say that Hamza is passionate about his work and I can tell he’s a perfectionist. He won’t ever rush the work and will clearly state the steps he’s taking when you’re in the chair and can’t talk, i feel like I’ve learnt so much about my teeth - I’m never left wondering about any of it or what the next session will entail which I love. He stops if I make any signal that I’m in discomfort and is keen to make sure I’m ok throughout.I’ve always dreaded the dentist but now I really don’t, Hamza and his assistant Zara are always so pleasant, calming and caring and as weird as it sounds I’m always so relaxed in that dentist chair which are words I never thought I’d say!I do recommend this place, facilities are nice and clean.
