Plenty of the teenagers we see are not worried about orthodontics. They are worried about photos. They have started smiling with their mouth closed, or turning their head in pictures, and most parents notice it before anything gets said.
Clear aligners are removable and barely visible. They come out for meals, for sport and for school photos. There are no brackets to rub, no wires to tighten and nothing to break at the wrong moment. For a self-conscious fifteen year old that is often the difference between agreeing to treatment and refusing it.
Most teens on this plan do not meet the NHS orthodontic criteria, or they qualify but the wait does not suit them. What we treat here is mild to moderate crowding and spacing. Anything more complex goes to an orthodontist.
If a tooth needs to be removed as part of the plan, that is £150 per tooth and we tell you before you commit. Whitening is not included because it is not available to under-18s, so the Spa Clean takes its place.
Thirty minutes with one of our dentists, with a parent present. We check whether your teen is suitable, talk through the NHS position honestly, and take a digital scan so you can see what is possible. A £20 deposit holds the slot and is refunded when you attend, or comes off treatment if you go ahead.

Aligners are fitted here in Sale. Appointments are short, we time fittings to school holidays where we can, and we check in every month.
A bonded retainer and a removable set to hold the result, with retainer checks at six and twelve months.
One price for the whole plan, agreed at the assessment and confirmed before you commit. Priced separately, the retainers, the refinement, the lost aligner cover and the Airflow Spa Clean would come to £1,029 of the total.
Pay in two parts. £1,500 when you go ahead and £1,499 when the aligners are fitted. Your teen's aligners are ordered as soon as you go ahead, so please be sure before the first payment.
Or spread the cost. Interest-free finance over 12 months is available on treatment plans (representative 0% APR). The Teen Smile Plan works out at £249.92 a month.

Every Teen Smile Plan case is planned and reviewed by a specialist orthodontist at 32Co, a UK aligner provider that works with dentists across the country. Your teen is treated in the practice they already know, with an orthodontist checking the plan behind the scenes.

If your teen meets the NHS criteria we will refer you, and that treatment is free. Most teens on this plan do not meet the criteria, or their family would rather not wait for an assessment and then a treatment start date.
No. Dr Mark and Dr Hamza are dentists who provide clear aligner treatment. Every Teen Smile Plan case is planned and reviewed by a specialist orthodontist at 32Co before treatment starts, and throughout.
Aligners need to be worn for about 22 hours a day, and that is the honest limit of this treatment for some teenagers. We check in every month, and if a case drifts we refine the plan at no extra cost within 18 months. If wear is going to be a battle, fixed braces may be the better option and we will say so at the assessment.
Two replacement sets are included in the price.
Yes. £2,999 is agreed at the assessment, before you commit, and covers everything listed above. The only thing that could be added is a tooth removal at £150 per tooth, and you would know about that before you decide.
The £1,500 is taken when you accept the plan and your teen's aligners are ordered straight away, because every aligner in the course is manufactured at the start. That is why we ask you to be sure before the first payment. If treatment does stop early, we will fit retainers at whatever position has been reached at no extra cost.
Yes. We take a £20 deposit to hold the slot, which is refunded when you attend or comes off treatment if you go ahead. Two full working days' notice keeps the deposit if you need to rearrange.
Yes. Assessments and most appointments are available after school, and we time fittings to school holidays where we can.
Yes. For under-16s a parent or guardian consents to treatment. For 16 and 17 year olds we ask a parent to be present too, and finance is always taken in a parent's name.
