Cookie policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This page lists the cookies and similar storage this website sets, who sets each one, why, and how long it lasts. They are set when you visit, including the ones we use for analytics and advertising. If you don’t want them, you can block or delete them in your browser, and the last section explains how.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file stored on your device. Some websites also use similar browser storage that works the same way. On this page “cookies” covers both.

When they are set

All the cookies below are set when you visit this website or when you use a part of it, such as booking online. They load as soon as a page opens, and our cookie notice tells you this once you start to scroll. It doesn’t ask you to accept or decline, because there is no setting on the site that turns these cookies off. You can block or delete them in your browser instead.

Advertising measurement

Google Ads and the Meta Pixel tell Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone who has seen one of our adverts visits this site, sends an enquiry or books. That lets us see whether our advertising is working.

What Google, Meta and DenGro receive

  • Google Analytics: the pages you visit, how you arrived, the links and buttons you use, the steps you take in our booking forms, and general information about your device, browser and approximate location. It doesn’t receive your name or anything you type into a form.
  • Google Ads: that you visited from one of our adverts, and when you book or ask us to call, with the booking value and a booking reference. When you send an enquiry, our lead system, DenGro, may also share your details with Google in hashed form, matched to the advert you clicked.
  • Meta: the pages you visit. When you send an enquiry, DenGro shares your name, email address and mobile number with Meta in hashed form, with the advert cookies above, so Meta can tell which adverts lead to enquiries. Our own service, run on Cloudflare, also sends Meta your IP address, your browser details and the _fbp and _fbc cookie IDs with each enquiry.
  • DenGro, our lead system (run by Dentology): each time you view a page, the cookies stored for our website on your device and the page’s web address details, such as which advert you came from, so it can link a later enquiry to that advert. When you send an enquiry, it receives the enquiry with the same details.

Hashed means the details are turned into a code before they are matched, so they aren’t sent as readable text. Google, Meta and Dentology use what they receive under their own privacy policies.

These providers set their own cookies when their content loads, and they decide how long they last.

Other websites we link to

Our booking portal, our finance provider Tabeo, Google and social media sites are separate websites. When you visit them, their own cookie and privacy policies apply.

How to block or delete cookies

You can block or delete cookies, and clear browser storage, in your browser’s settings. Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data” in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. You can also use a private or incognito window, which clears them when you close it. If you block all cookies, parts of the site, such as online booking, may not work.

To limit what Google and Meta do with your data:

  • Google Analytics: Google’s opt-out browser add-on, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Google advertising: your Google ad settings, at myadcenter.google.com
  • Meta advertising: your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, at facebook.com/adpreferences
