A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain, made individually for your tooth and bonded to its front surface. Porcelain holds its colour and its polish in a way composite cannot, which is why veneers are the choice for deeply discoloured, worn or misshapen teeth, and for smiles that need a more complete change.
Veneers involve preparing the tooth, and that is not a decision to rush. Some enamel is usually removed, and the tooth will always need a veneer from that point on. We are direct about this because it is the difference between a good decision and a regretted one. Where bonding or whitening would do the job, we will tell you.

Once you go ahead, your new smile is designed with Dr Hamza Mirza, then printed into a Trial Smile you wear in your own mouth and adjust with us until you approve it. Nothing is permanent until you have seen it and said yes.
Teeth are prepared and temporaries placed whilst the laboratory crafts the porcelain. At the fit appointment each veneer is checked against shade, shape and bite before it is bonded.
A review appointment, guidance on protecting your investment, and a night guard where grinding puts porcelain at risk, priced in your plan if you need one.

Many years with good care. Porcelain is strong and colour-stable, but it is not indestructible: grinding, nail-biting and opening things with your teeth shorten its life.
Preparation usually removes some enamel, and it is not reversible. That is exactly why case selection matters and why we plan on a scan and a Trial Smile before touching anything.
Bonding is additive, cheaper and reversible in a way veneers are not. Veneers outlast and outperform bonding on discolouration and wear. We will give you a straight recommendation at consultation.
Sometimes one, matched invisibly to its neighbours. Sometimes six or more for a full smile change. Your consultation plan sets out the options, and once you go ahead the Trial Smile lets you see the result on your own teeth before anything is permanent.
Tell us. Grinding does not rule veneers out, but it changes how we plan, and usually means a night guard to protect them.
