What is the dental crown procedure like?

At Sale Dental, the process of getting a dental crown starts with a thorough consultation to discuss your dental goals, timeline, and aesthetic preferences. We then prepare the affected tooth by removing any decay and shaping it to fit the crown. Impressions of your teeth are taken and sent to our lab to create a custom-made crown that matches the colour and shape of your natural teeth.

While your permanent crown is being made, we provide a temporary crown to protect your tooth. During your final visit, we fit and secure your custom crown, ensuring it fits comfortably and looks natural. We also provide guidance on care and maintenance to ensure the longevity of your crown.

How will my dental crown look?

At Sale Dental, we use high-quality materials for our dental crowns, such as porcelain, ceramic, and metal alloys. Our crowns are designed to look natural and blend seamlessly with your existing teeth. Just editing with an update!I'm so so happy with my new teeth that I broke in February - Hamza not only made me the mode gorgeous temporary teeth while my new ones were being made at the dental lab (EVERYONE thought they were the finished ones) - the new crown and veneer are just stunning.It's really obvious Hamza is not only a dedicated perfectionist - he loves what he does and it shows in every aspect. I'm thrilled to bits!Again- genuinely - A MILLION THANKS!I wish I knew how to post a pic but you'll have to wait for the video on the website! I love them xI can't recommend enough.I called in a real state last week after breaking a front upper tooth -( I look like Texan right now).As I need tooth whitening before I enter the realms of replacing a crown- I called sale dental spa for some advice because my regular dental practice was pretty 'meh' and in no hurry to help. The ladies on reception were so patient with me and Mandi has been absolutely fantastic- what a breath of fresh air to be genuinely cared for XXI've now booked in with one of their dental surgeons as I've lost faith in my own and I can't wait to see them all again on Thursday to discuss my options.I've been so well taken care of that even my sister, son and nephew were impressed and are booking in now too.Thank you all so so much xI'd seriously consider this dental practice and ignore the less positive review- they are a truly great team of friendly, welcoming professionals who know how to put you at ease.See you again on Thursday!Jus x

Total transformation. I visited Sale Dental Spa last summer for composite bonding and I'm still thrilled with the results months later. Mandi gave me fantastic advice on what would work best for me and Dr. Aisha’s craft and attention to detail were second to none. I looked around at many others for price and reputation, this was the best. for full mouth dentistry. The whole team couldn’t be more friendly, competent and professional. The reception fronted by the unbelievable skills of Mandi who found slots that didn’t exist , right through to the dentist Hamza who worked miracles at times that were definitely testing and long even the odd weekend. I had an AirFlow cleaning with Rebecca and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nadia and Zahra were both amazing!I had previous composite edge bonding from elsewhere which wasn’t to a high standard and had multiple chips. Nadia removed the previous composite and redid my top 6 teeth. In May I decided to take action on my oral health and came here to have a consultation to see just what work I needed, knowing I’d need a fair amount so I scheduled an appointment online and was booked in with Hamza.From the beginning he’s been really helpful, kind and professional - knowing I was extremely nervous at the start he worked out a dental plan for me and talked me through it making sure I understood the issues and impact if I was to decide not to fix soon. I never felt pressured he always was clear about how I could schedule the treatment whenever I’m ready so always felt comfortable and armed with the information needed to make decisions on my treatment.It’s 7 months later and I’ve had 3 sessions of work with 2 more to go, I can honestly say that Hamza is passionate about his work and I can tell he’s a perfectionist. He won’t ever rush the work and will clearly state the steps he’s taking when you’re in the chair and can’t talk, i feel like I’ve learnt so much about my teeth - I’m never left wondering about any of it or what the next session will entail which I love. He stops if I make any signal that I’m in discomfort and is keen to make sure I’m ok throughout.I’ve always dreaded the dentist but now I really don’t, Hamza and his assistant Zara are always so pleasant, calming and caring and as weird as it sounds I’m always so relaxed in that dentist chair which are words I never thought I’d say!I do recommend this place, facilities are nice and clean.
