At Sale Dental Spa, it’s all about our clients and each and every one of you is very special to us. I originally gained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours in 1995. I have successfully completed a Masters degree in Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry from the University of Central Lancashire. I thrive on constantly upgrading my skills by attending postgraduate courses, so I can deliver the latest and best treatments for you. I pay attention to little details in the treatment I provide which is the secret of our ever growing happy and smiling clientele. “Hi, I am Ish and I am part of this wonderful team at Sale Dental Spa as an Associate Dentist.
I graduated with Distinction from The University of Leeds receiving MChD BChD and BSc in Oral Science. Since then I have always taken different opportunities to up-skill and improve my knowledge, techniques and keep
up to date. I am a certified Invisalign and C fast fixed braces provider which enables me to offer cosmetic alignment of teeth. Along with composite courses where I have developed my skills to change the shape and size of teeth which can enhance your smile. My passion for continued learning has led me to embark on a year long postgraduate course on Advanced Restorative and Aesthetics Dentistry. This will allow me to ensure optimum care and treatment planning is provided to my patients.
I am keen on giving back to the community and strongly believe in improving the population’s oral health with an emphasis on educating patients in the prevention of dental disease. I am passionate about providing the best patient care and spend time creating a personalised treatment plan for each and every patient. My aim is to ensure my patients go out with a smile on their face!
Outside of dentistry I enjoy dancing and have successfully performed in multiple national competitions with my dance group. I am also an avid traveller who likes to experience different cultures and cuisines.”

My name is Shumaila and I am a GDC registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist. I am part of this amazing team at Sale dental Spa. I am also a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy, and I develop my existing knowledge and skills by regularly attending different courses. I enjoy educating and advising patients on the importance of maintaining their teeth and gums as this is the key factor in helping patients to maintain their oral health and preventing gum disease. I am very enthusiastic about my work and enjoy working as part of a team that delivers excellence while maintaining a caring and welcoming manner for all patients.
Mandi Beesley, Practice Manager and Treatment Co-ordinator

Mandi Beesley is the Practice Manager and Treatment Co-ordinator at Sale Dental Spa. “I have come from a background of Dental Nursing and have been in the profession for the past 18 years, working in NHS, Private and Orthodontic practices in Manchester and Cheshire. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my work and given my varied history in the profession, I have been lucky enough to see many different sides of the Dental world. The patient journey to me, is the most important part of dentistry, from the initial consultation, where a plan is formulated for treatment, to the final day of treatment when our patient’s smile is perfected, every step is as important to me as the day when a patient gets the smile they have been waiting for. My role at Sale Dental Spa is to ensure that all of our patients have a professional and positive end to end experience. I strive to meet patient’s objectives and deliver the highest possible standards of care with the help of my team. In my spare time
outside of work, I enjoy expensive wines and I’m an avid reader! My personal favourite authors include John Connolly, Martina Cole and Leslie Pearce. I enjoy travelling to hot countries and the great outdoors and socialising. I have a little Chorkie (which is a Yorkshire and Chihuahua cross breed) called Boo who is my pride and joy and she certainly keeps me out of mischief!”

“Collett is the Head Receptionist at Sale Dental Spa. “I have worked within dentistry for nearly 6 years as a dental nurse, dental receptionist, and practice coordinator in different dental practices around Lancashire and Manchester. I have loved every aspect of dentistry and it has helped me broaden my skills and knowledge to help all of you lovely people! My favourite treatment is composite bonding because the transformation is just amazing!”

I was born and grew up in Cyprus on the military bases so my favourite place in the world is sunny Cyprus. I love to travel and spend time with my husband, family and friends. I am a HUGE animal lover, I have two cats called Kovu and Kiara who are brother and sister (as you might already be able to tell, I love Disney too!) – Kiara also has an extra thumb, which is just adorable. I love horse riding, reading and going to the gym in my spare time.”
Sabeer Alikkantavida

Sabeer graduated in 1997 and worked as a Principal Dentist for 12 years in India. He moved to UK in 2009 after passing the qualifying examination in 2007. He worked as a community Dental officer in NHS Fife, Scotland in 2009 for a year and moved to Manchester in 2010 and working as a General Dental practitioner. In 2011 he completed PG Cert in Dental Implant. 2014 he completed his Diploma in Restorative Dentistry by Royal College of Surgeons in England and during this time he developed his interest in Endodontics and completed MSc. Sabeer enjoys all aspects of Endodontics (Root canal treatment) and working with referring dentists to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes for the patients. Outside work Sabeer married with three children and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Cristina and I’ve been a part of the Sale Dental Team since November 2021.I have worked in the dental industry since 2016 in various roles such as reception and practice management. I have trained as a dental nurse since 2019 and qualified in the summer of 2021. I am passionate about offering patients the highest quality of care and comfort.In my spare time I enjoy reading and travelling as much as possible.
