At our South Manchester cosmetic dental practice, we’re seeing a worrying trend. Patients return from overseas dental tourism, particularly Turkey, believing they’ve had composite bonding, only to discover they’ve actually received crowns or aggressive veneers requiring irreversible tooth reduction.

True composite bonding is a conservative cosmetic dental treatment. We minimally prepare your tooth surface and apply bonding material directly to your natural tooth. The key word is preservation.
Your natural tooth structure stays intact. Composite bonding is reversible, if you change your mind, your original teeth remain underneath.
Many patients discover too late that they’re receiving crowns, not composite bonding or minimal-prep veneers.
Dental crowns require removing 60-70% of your natural tooth structure. Laminate veneers require just 0.3-0.5mm (the thickness of a contact lens). True composite bonding requires even less preparation.
